The St. Louis Regional Chamber and presenting sponsor RubinBrown announced the 2020 Arcus Awards finalists today at the St, Louis Regional Chamber during a live reveal streamed on Facebook and live-tweeted on Twitter. The Arcus Awards celebrate extraordinary achievements of private businesses, governmental organizations, innovators and non-profits that are making the St. Louis region an attractive place to live, work and invest. The winners will be announced at the 7th Annual Arcus Awards on Thursday, February 27, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Hyatt St. Louis at the Arch. The Arcus Awards include a networking reception, dinner and Oscars-style awards ceremony.

“The St. Louis region is bending the trendlines – we as a business community are more collaborative, engaged and committed to growing our region now more than ever. People across the country are taking notice of what is happening here in St. Louis,” said St. Louis Regional Chamber President & CEO Tom Chulick. “The Regional Chamber is dedicated to celebrating what is great about St. Louis – and the Arcus Awards are about getting the regional business community together in one room to really celebrate our colleagues and their success stories.”

Ameren Corporate Citizen Award honors finalists who have enhanced the quality of life and made positive changes that impacted St. Louisans across the social, cultural and economic spectrum through philanthropic giving, community involvement by employees, and/or partnerships with state and local governments.

BMO Harris Bank Spirit of St. Louis Award honors organizations that embrace risk-taking, innovation, cutting-edge technology, or industry best practices to extend St. Louis’ rich history and global reputation as a hub of innovation and forward-looking vision.

  • Center for Clinical Pharmacology, St. Louis College of Pharmacy and Washington University School of Medicine
  • The Community Reinvestment Initiatives Team at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis

Achievement in Entrepreneurship, presented by STL Communications, celebrates finalists who provide leadership through the launch or growth of a start-up company, contributions to forming early-stage capital, or supporting entrepreneurship training.

The 2020 finalists are:

  • Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Achievement in Inclusive Business Solutions - These corporations and diverse business owners demonstrated exemplary work in the area of inclusive business solutions by achieving measurable growth in the business enterprise or implementing an innovative solution which has included a diverse business enterprise.

Achievement in Technology, presented by Bayer - These finalists developed or used outstanding or innovative technology in the areas of manufacturing, IT, financial services, biosciences, health, logistics, robotics, or AI.

Achievement in Infrastructure and Transportation - These companies, organizations or agencies demonstrated leadership and creativity for innovative programs relative to transportation and infrastructure in the St. Louis Region. This includes, but is not limited to roadways, bridges, airports, railway, waterways, and structures.

Achievement in Regional Economic Impact - These finalists created quality new jobs in the St. Louis region from the period of October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018. Nominees were, but are not limited to: commercial, retail, manufacturing, any type of for-profit or not-for-profit business in the Metropolitan St. Louis Region.

Achievement in Cultural Engagement, presented by Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner - these finalists provided the best example of leadership in organizing and successfully presenting a sporting event, festival, exhibition, or media reporting that showcases the St. Louis region in a positive light, garnering favorable local, national and/or international attention or recognition.
