How do you like to play?

Maybe you like to play ball, whether that’s baseball, basketball, or any other sport. According to ESPN, St. Louis is the “Ultimate Sports City” and with teams like the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and the St. Louis Surge we’re proud to root for the home team. And our sports base continues to grow with our own MLS team coming in 2022. Come cheer with us, no matter what game you play.

Maybe you like to play outdoors. Forest Park, the crown jewel of our urban core, is 1,300 acres and one of the largest parks in the nation. Visit the Shawnee National Forest, Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, and a wealth of hiking and biking trails all within the region. No matter where you are in the region, we have green space for you.

Playing isn’t just for kids, but we are home to a wealth of kid-friendly attractions like the Magic House and the City Museum. And did we mention not only are our institutions in Forest Park like the Saint Louis Zoo, the St. Louis Art Museum, and the Missouri History Museum are world-class and free?

The undeniable icon of St. Louis is the Gateway Arch, which isn’t only a Gateway to the West, but a gateway to all the ways you can play in St. Louis.
